Travel document holders are essential but more than anything are a fashion statement. We love the practical side to protect documents from dirt, dust, and moisture, and keep everything organized and in one place, but more that anything we love the styles, colours and materials!

Leather, fabric, nylon, paper-based or plastic. Big and small, colourful or not that can store everything from passports and credit cards, to tickets and maps.

Waterproof?

Look for a material that is water-resistant or waterproof so your important papers won’t get damaged in the event of any unexpected weather. Make sure your document holder has secure closures such as a zipper, Velcro, or buttoned flap to keep documents safe from potential thieves. Look for an option that provides extra pockets and compartments so you can easily sort and organize all of your necessary items. And if you’d like to customize your document holder, many brands offer personalization options so you can add your name, initials or special message.

When it comes to travel document holders, there really is something for everyone. From stylish and modern designs to classic and traditional looks, you’re sure to find a style that suits your needs. With the right holder, you’ll have easy access to all the important documents you need for your next trip. How about vegan?

One type of vegan travel document holder is made from recycled paper and cardboard material. These document holders are lightweight, waterproof and feature a secure zipper closure to ensure your documents stay safe and dry. They come in a variety of sizes, colours and styles.

Faux leather or cork material?

Another type of vegan travel document holder is made from faux leather or cork material. These document holders are stylish as well as environmentally friendly, and are perfect for those who want to add a touch of elegance to their travels. Faux leather document holders are lightweight and durable, while cork document holders offer a classic look that will never go out of fashion. Is it worth spending that much on your skin care range?

Posted on February 3, 2021 at 12:18 pm

When it comes to choosing skin care products, the market is flooded with choice. It may be that you always stick to the same brand or maybe you haven’t found one that suits you yet and just tend to buy what’s ok offer.

There is a massive price difference between skin care products. For example, you can pick up a day moisturiser for as little as a pound or can spend hundreds of pounds on one! Is it really worth spending all that extra money on a face cream? Some people swear by their expensive skin care range, saying that it has taken years off them, whereas others say they really cannot tell much of a difference.

There are some manufacturers that make creams that do use a better quality of ingredients and have maybe done more research to find out what is good for your skin, but whether that is worth paying hundreds for is another matter. Often when a celebrity endorses a face cream or beauty product, it is not just the face cream that has given them a youthful look, they may of even had cosmetic surgery. Think carefully before breaking the bank to splash out on that moisturiser.

Has fashion lost its place?

Posted on December 24, 2020 at 10:33 am

This year many of us have found ourselves at home more than ever especially over the festive period. Times when we will usually get dressed up for works parties, family gatherings or a meal out etc. have all been cancelled and many of us have spent more time in lounge wear than we thought possible. Fashion has taken a bit of a back seat for many as retail shops have closed a number of times throughout the year and even when they have opened the shopping experience hasn’t been quite as enjoyable. Lots of people have been worried about money and therefore have had to tighten their belts and clothing purchases have been out on hold. It has been a hard year for the fashion industry and many are worried as to whether it will fully recover next year.

Many people are dying to have a good excuse to get dressed up again so it is likely as and when we can start to socialise more and go out the industry will recover quite quickly.

If you work within the fashion industry you may of had to change your designs to be more everyday rather than occasion wear.

Hair treatments and shopping in one place

Posted on April 10, 2019 at 9:56 am

Oxford Street in London is a prime location for shoppers. It has a wealth of high street and designer stores and makes it one of the busiest streets for shopping in the capital. Many of the retailers have their flagship stores on Oxford Street and often new ideas that they have are first rolled out in these stores.
Primark has recently revealed that its store on Oxford Street has started to offer a certain amount of beauty treatments and hair styling services. Primark is renowned for its cheap fashion clothing and homeware. The store in London is offering treatments such as eyelash tinting, threading and manicures, and if it turns out to be successful this may well be rolled out into other stores across the UK. Along with beauty treatments, hair styling is another service they no offer. They will curl, straighten or style your hair in an up-do for a fraction of the cost you would pay at a top end salon. They hope that by offering this service, people can pop in to choose an outfit for their night out and have their hair done at the same time.

Charity shop bargains

Posted on August 31, 2017 at 9:09 pm

Years ago, charity shop shopping had a bit of a stigma attached to it. People often thought only the poorest of people shop at charity shops but over recent years more and more people have started to see the benefits of shopping in these stores and many of them are reaping the benefits.

There are often quite a few charity shops within a town or city and some of them specialise in offering specific clothing or household items. Some charity shops for example, will have wedding dresses or prom dresses and others I will be filled with electrical appliances. You really can pick up a bargain at one of these stores and knock pounds off the recommend retail prices that high street shops often charge.

It is also nice to know that the money you spend in a charity shops goes to a good cause rather than just lining the pockets of the big bosses in the high street retailers. Many charity shops also sell designer labels and often these can be picked up for less than a tenth of the original price.

If you have unwanted items, rather than chucking them away, why not try to donate them to one of your local shops.
