3 Effective Natural Beauty Tips

Posted on March 27, 2015 at 2:56 pm

We love natural beauty treatments. Cheaper and usually more effective than what you find in the shops, below are three of our favourite treatments;

Elbow / knee exfoliator: This is a nice and easy treatment, which only requires an orange. Cut the orange in two and then rub them on your elbows and/or knees. The citrus will help soften any rough patches and marks. Once you’re done, just rinse off with warm water.

Black head removal: Cut a lemon wedge, and drop some honey on it. Rub the wedge around your face for a minute, especially on areas where you’re having problems. Once you’ve rubbed the wedge, leave the mixture on for a minimum of five minutes and then rinse off with cold water. We recommend you do this treatment before bed.

Nail treatment: A really simple treatment. Pour some olive oil in a bowl and soak your nails for five minutes.

Using Tea Tree Oil To Treat Acne

Posted on January 21, 2015 at 1:03 pm

The use of tea tree oil is highly recommend when it comes to getting rid of acne. Due to its disinfectant and soothing properties, the oil will not strip your skin of its natural oils like other acne treatments do.

Applying tea tree oil directly to the affected acne areas is usually the most effective way in treatment. Also containing antibacterial properties, we recommend this form of treatment over other acne treatments which use harsher chemicals.

All you need to do is pour a couple of drops onto a cotton bud or cotton pad and then dab into the infected area. We recommend applying a few hours before bed and leaving overnight. Make sure to always apply on clean, dry skin.
